History
Planning for the resort began by the Ontario Casino Corporation as soon as the temporary facility Casino Niagara was opened in 1996.
Construction began in 2001 and the resort opened in June, 2004.
Due to market demand and its prime location, the temporary facility was kept open and continues to operate as of 2007.
Ownership and Management
The Casino is publicly owned by the Crown agency, OLG, formally known as the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation and managed by the Falls Management Company. A portion of the profits are returned to the Ontario government.
